Canada Day in Greely: Performance

At the Greely Canada Day festivities a flat bed trailer served as a stage with performances through the daylight hours by Terry McGovern's Retrosonics. They rocked the park. After dark before the fireworks winners of Greely Idol performed. Breanna Thiffault sang O Canada and some opera pieces with her amazing soprano voice. Grayson Montanara follwed and she had an amazing voice, too.

Canada Day in Greely: Concessions and Bouncy Castle

The Greely Canada Day Festival had a bouncy castle and a booth selling food. The organizer used a system of selling tickets and then trading tickets for food, drinks, freezies, trolley rides, and the bouncy castle. I took pictures of all that as well as a few of the general ambiance. The big crowd showed up for the fireworks but by then it was dark so I didn't take pictures of all the people that came out for that.

Canada Day in Greely: Trolly Ride

When I read the schedule of events for Greely's Canada Day festivities it said there would be a trolly ride. I wondered what that was and it turned out to be a horse drawn wagon ride.

The sign points the way to the Greely Community Centre for the Canada Day Festival.

The Trolley Ride

The horses are Dan on the left and Nicky on the right.
Although they look similar they are not related.

As you can see from the sign, the horse drawn trolley was provided by Hollybrooke Farms.
