The Osgoode Township Museum

On Tuesday, May 29, 2018 I visited the Osgoode Township Museum in Vernon, Ontario. The museum has artifacts, photographs and farm machinery from Osgoode Township as well as an extensive collection of township archival material. Admission is $2 and well worth it. I took many photographs, shown below without comment though they should be self explanatory. Though I photographed the collection extensively, I'm sure there's a lot I missed. There is no substituted for an actual visit and I highly recommend visiting this museum.

Mill St. Brewpub

On Sunday, April 23, 2018 I went onto the Portage Bridge that connects Ottawa to Gatineau to photograph some memorials for my blog site, Memorials in Ottawa. My route there and back went past the Mill St. Brewpub, situated just west of the Portage Bridge on the north side of  Wellington Street.

As I passed by on Wellington Street I thought, 'that's a good picture, and took it, not intending to take any more.

Then after taking pictures on the east side of Portage Bridge, I crossed over to the west side to come back and I just had to take the next picture of the Mill St. Brewpub.

Then I took a few more and finally photographed the sign on Wellington Street to be the lead-in picture above. I hope you enjoy this little photo essay of the Mill St. Brewpub in Ottawa.
